Dog Foster Application

Thank you for considering opening up your home to a dog in need.

We accept foster homes in Calgary, Didsbury, Sundre, Carstairs, Olds, Innisfail, Red Deer, Edmonton, Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Strathmore, Medicine Hat, Tilley, Canmore, and Okotoks.

To become an approved foster home please start by completing the foster application below. One of our volunteers will be in touch within two business days via email to set up a phone call and home visit.

What is your reason for wanting to foster?

Please list all people who live in your home including ages.

Please list any pets you have in the home including size, age and temperament.

What kind of dog are you ideally looking to foster? (Size, energy level, etc)

What kind of experience do you and your household have with dogs? (Family dogs, training courses, previous foster experience)

Do you own or rent your home? If you rent, do you have written consent allowing you to foster?

Does anyone in your home have allergies to dogs?

Our rescue believes in only using positive reinforcement and force free training techniques, do you agree to using only these methods with your foster dog?
